These pendants are all made of polymer clay with ink and though many other sellers in this line use polymer clay for their earrings and necklaces, each pendant is unique and like the other necklaces i am selling each does not have a replicate. You will not see anyone else with the same pendant which again, explains the steep pricing. Each pendant is carefully and skillfully hand made by a talented artist from Milford, CT in the United States -- a sweet lady by the name of Rachel whose work and creativity is mind blowing.

1. Xena the Princess Warrior

An image of Xena cut from a comic book is enclosed between two pieces of glass, then soldered around the edges with lead free silver solder. The back side of the pendant, which measures 1x3", is shown in the second picture. The 18" silver plated chain closes with a lobster clasp, and the jumprings used to attach the pendant and clasps have been soldered shut.

2a. Butterfly Fairy 1 (sold)

A little fairy face peeks out from behind a small clear glass flat back marble that has been soldered around the edges and back with lead free silver solder. The butterfly wings are made from heavy paper that is coated front and back with a glossy resin-like finish to make them shiny and sturdy. The marble is about 3/4", with the total size of the pendant about 1x1 3/4". The pendant hangs from an 18" silver plated chain that closes with a lobster clasp, and the jumprings used to attach the pendant and clasps have been soldered shut

An illustration and text cut from the classic Dick and Jane school reader is enclosed between two pieces of glass, then soldered around the edges with lead free silver solder. The pendant measures 1x3" and hangs from an 18" silver plated chain that closes with a lobster clasp. The back side of the pendant is shown in the second picture, and the jumprings used to attach the pendant and clasps have been soldered shut.

4. To love a woman (reserved)

A scene from a romance novel cover illustration and text cut from the book are enclosed between two pieces of glass, then soldered around the edges with lead free silver solder. The pendant measures 1x2" and hangs from an 18" silver plated chain that closes with a lobster clasp. The back side of the pendant is shown in the second picture, and the jumprings used to attach the clasps have been soldered shut.

5. Edo (sold)

An original little collage-not a print-is enclosed between two pieces of glass, then soldered around the edges with lead free silver solder. The pendant measures 1 1/2x1 1/2" and hangs from a 20" silver plated chain that closes with a lobster clasp. The back side of the pendant is shown in the second picture, and the jumprings used to attach the clasps have been soldered shut.

5. L'enfant

An image of a girl in blue is enclosed between two pieces of glass, then soldered around the edges with lead free silver solder. The pendant measures 1x1 1/2" and hangs from an 18" silver plated chain that closes with a lobster clasp. The back side of the pendant is pink glitter paper under the glass, and the jumprings used to attach the pendant and clasps have been soldered shut.

A scrap of vintage sheet music is affixed behind a clear chunky glass heart, then soldered with lead free silver solder around the edges and back. The pendant measures about 2.5cm or 1" across and about 1.3cm or 1/2" thick and hangs from a 45.7cm (18") silver plated chain that closes with a lobster clasp. The jumprings used to attach the clasps have been soldered shut.

The back side of the pendant is red glitter paper under the glass. The pendant measures 2.5x 7.6cm or 1x3" and hangs from an 45.7cm or 18" silver plated chain that closes with a lobster clasp. All jumprings used have been soldered shut.

4. Flower girl (sold)

An image of a little flower fairy is enclosed between two pieces of glass, then soldered around the edges with lead free silver solder. The pendant measures 2.5x7.6 cm or 1x3" and is choker length, hanging from a 40.6cm or 16" silver toned cord that closes with a lobster clasp. The back side of the pendant is a floral print paper under the glass

5. Pink rose (sold)

A vintage celluloid rose is backed by paper collage and enclosed in a glass and lead free silver soldered pendant. The rose measures about 3/4", the pendant is 1 1/4x1 1/4 and about 1/2" deep. The 20" silver plated chain closes with a lobster clasp, and all jumprings used have been soldered shut.

6. Vintage rose (sold)

A silver toned rose charm is backed by collage papers, inserted between two pieces of glass, then soldered around the edges with lead free silver solder. The pendant measures 1 1/2x1 1/2" and is about 1/4" deep. The 20" silver plated chain closed with a lobster clasp, and the jumprings used to attach the clasps have been soldered shut. The back side of the pendant is coordinating papers under the glass. Your necklace will arrive in its own little gift box, shown in the last picture.

All necklaces include chain:

Ball chain is wrapped around the buttons to cover the seam and to hold the jump ring that the chain goes through. The chain is also ball chain. All necklace chains measure 53cm long. If you prefer it shorter, chains can be easily cut with scissors on one end.

Butterfly Kisses is the title of a song by Bob Carliste, and this sweet song is about a father loving his daughter. My dad loves this song so I grew up listening to it and being away from home so often i miss him muchly. Everytime I hear this song, it just reminds me of childhood endevours not so long ago.
